If you are interested in selling all or part of your music or memorabilia collection through voxpopmusic then you should make contact with us.
We operate like no other record shop we know. We sell records as an agency on your behalf in order to give you the best financial return on your music at current world market prices.
We take in collections and then catalogue, grade and price all your items for you. These are then made available to the public through our shop and online through our own website and other global aggregator sites (with a full description to help them sell). When we take delivery of your items we set you up on our system as a supplier. We account to all our agency suppliers on a monthly basis and take a commission for this service. This is the best way to get the best financial return for your music, and the beauty is we do all the hard work. The more records we sell for you the more money will be paid through to your account. Obviously, the more desirable the items are, the quicker they will sell.
Our system also works for people who regularly trade their surplus records and wish to do this against our existing stock. |
What you should do
Make contact with us by email or phone giving us as much detail as possible about the items you wish to sell. The more information you can give us at this point the more help we can be to you. The information we want to know is:
Approximately how many items you want to sell?
What formats they are?
What musical genres they cover? (information on the Artists, Labels, Years etc, really helps here) |
What is the general condition?
Don’t worry, you are not expected to be an expert, (that’s our job) just give us as much detail as you can. We will respond to every enquiry however large or small. No collection is too big. Once we have received an enquiry from you we will then call you back to discuss in further detail how we can help you and the next steps that should be taken.
Please note we only sell items that we actually hold on site, we would therefore need to take delivery of the collection before we can process the stock and set you up as a supplier.
We have a keen interest in music memorabilia such as tour posters, T-Shirts and signed items so if you have anything along these lines or out of the ordinary, again, get in touch.
